The purpose of the battery burning test machine: This machine is suitable for battery flame resistance test, and is made according to the test standard such as UL2054.

Standards: This instrument can meet SJ/T11169-1998 (eqv UL 1642:1995), SJ/T11170-1998 (eqv UL 2054:1997), UL 1642 [13], GB8897.4-2002 6.3.2.9, idt IEC60086 -4:2000 and other test methods.

Combustion particle test of battery burning test machine

Each test cell was placed on a 20-hole mesh screen per inch (25.4 mm) with a 0.017-inch thick wire mesh placed at a distance of 1-1/2 (38.1 mm) inches from the burner. The fuel and air are sprayed at a speed that provides a bright blue flame so that the wire mesh turns bright red. A coarse asbestos panel placed at a vertical distance of 3 feet (0.91 m) from the center of the stencil

The asbestos cloth is one yard square and consists of four layers of 0.4 to 0.6 ounces per square yard and coarse asbestos cloth. The test sample is placed in the center of the asbestos cloth to which Mars or combustion particles can be sprayed. In some cases of MOU, it should be required to circle the experimental sample in the net, then ignite the burner and observe the battery until it explodes or is destroyed.

The asbestos panel does not ignite when the battery is subjected to the experiment described in 22.1.

 

Spray test of battery burning test machine

The test cell was placed on a flat table with a 4 inch diameter hole and covered with a cover. The cover is constructed of a 20-hole wire mesh per foot or a wire of 0.017 inches (0.43 mm). Place a screen screen of 8 faces wide (610 mm) and 1 foot high (305 mm) on each side of the specimen, see Figure 23.1. The metal mesh consists of a wire having a diameter of 0.010 inches (0.25 mm) of 16-18 filaments per inch. The sample is placed on a metal mesh, covering the hole in the center of the table, and then heated until it explodes or is destroyed. The safety valve faces parallel to the asbestos cloth.

When the experiment described in 23.1 was carried out, no part of the explosion battery penetrated the screen, and some or all of the batteries protruded from the screen.
